Production Supervisor, Doncaster.
Salary 30,000 - 35,000
Days Monday to Thursday 8am - 4:30pm Friday 3:30pm
Are you an experienced and hands-on Production Supervisor looking to join a growing manufacturing business in Doncaster?
Adept Resourcing are working exclusively with a Doncaster based SME manufacturing business who are looking to add to their leadership team within the production department.
Specific responsibilities of the role will include:

• Supervise and manage all day shift personnel.
• Work together and aid the Production Manager to ensure the GM's plan is met.
• Liaise regularly with customers to ensure a full communication dialogue is kept, increasing customer satisfaction.
• Responsible for Risk Assessments, COSHH and SOP's
• Responsible for all shop floor quality documentation in line with Production Managers requirements
• Maintain shop floor skills matrix and all shop floor training records with Production Manager
• Ensure all areas are manned correctly and moved around to suit the production programme needs
• Be fluid and flexible in your approach to getting the best out of your team
• Create, implement & maintain shop floor standard operating procedures
• Organise Frame area and frame dress area to meet 10-day plan in cooperation with After's supervisor.
• Work with your team to ensure clean flow and correct product segregation from prep through to hang, ensuring everyone understands the plan
• Create, complete and report shop floor targets
• Create, complete and report HSE, training records
• Ensure the plan is updated daily and appropriate in-depth handover is passed for Afters
• Directly responsible for 1st line discipline of the staff under your command.

Experience/ Skills:

• Previous/current Production Supervisor experience
• Strong people-manager
• Hands on & enthusiastic approach
• Effective communicator
• Flexible in approach
• Fully computer literate -and Excel
• Communicate efficiently at all levels
